NEW VENTURE

So the reason for the name of this post and why I have not been blogging as regular as i promised is because I’m busy with a new venture and in due time you guys will hear all about it!

I know that teasing you ain’t helping but I know it’ll be worth the wait.

So on to my wintery look basically its a print clash nothing fancy, but what i love about this look is that I felt confident in it and its like it was just meant to be. Doing a print clash for the first time can be scary, so take it one step at a time, dont over do it either because then you’ll look like a clown…

So keep watching this space because soon i’ll be letting “the cat out the bag” 🙂

RUMI NEELY

Rumi began her site fashion toast in 2008, and lets just say that its nothing less than amazing. I discovered her blog a few weeks ago and immediately fell in love with her style! She is effortless and yet still looks put together, something i want my style to grow into… I say grow because our style changes every year if you look at pictures from last year you are thinking one of 2 things 1. “Damn im hot, nailed it” or 2. “What was I thinking!” Lol. Her pictures are not only of quality but tells you a story as well, which is eventually what I want my pictures to elevate too. Anyway less of me having a lezbehonest chat about her and more of her amazing style and pictures 🙂

PRINTED

Hi All

So before the weekend kicks off thought i’d do a look post. Let me just say I have been dying to get a pair of timberlands and finally got them, definitely without a doubt love at first sight for me this is shoe porn I love the fit of my timbs. I got them as a gift from my wonderful sister after her trip to Dubai. This was that jaw dropping kinda gift, like we were insync and she new exactly what i wanted.

I feel relaxed that its friday after a week of work. I paired my timberlands with a lovely silky shirt that screams print exactly what you want for summer its flowy and i love the feel of the material.

What im wearing:

FASHION FORWARD

Hi All

So my must have item for this season is a midi skirt. What i love about it is that you can dress it up or down depending on your mood or occasion. Its so versatile and everyone has them from fashionita’s to celebs.

Pairing it with a crop top adds abit of edge to this look which i love, because you taking something that looks “classic” and making it funky which inspires me to go all out with this look with bulky jewels and bright color heel or lip. Its amazing, coz when you look good you feel good and you even walk differently. These skirts are a must have, i am in search of one so if you do know where i can find please leave me a comment (Thank you in advance) lol.

MONO-TONED

Shoes are a girls best friend and honestly I’m an addict, im sure many of you can relate. Sniffing out a great pair of shoes takes time and that momemt when you found the perfect pair either to match your already put together outfit or just planning your outfit around it (which ever way works) you become obsessed and thats when my “shoppaholic syndrome” kicks into overdrive. Some say its a sickness but deep down us woman know its just meant to be!

Back to the real world lol my look-post entails my obsession with monochrome prints once again, black and white patterns are really big this season. I’ve taken a simple dress and paired it with bold jewels to kind of add colour and break it as well.

My monochrome dress was made for me by my friend Hadjierah (amazing dressmaker)Miss H designs, blinged jacket marion and linde, bag ramdom shop, jewellery lovisa and aldo, shoes zoom.

I love fashion and its amazing how confident you can feel if given the proper tools.

OOTD- Monochrome madness

Hey all, I have been looking for these monochrome stripped pants everywhere and finally found em. This is just a quick look i threw together for a girls day out…

Monochrome prints are so hot right now! Seeing it all over the runways and it just shows black and white will never go out of fashion.

The monochrome fashion trend is one of the easiest ways to update your wardrobe, and its perfect for spring too. This trend never goes out of fashion.

To brighten up a monochrome look simply add a pair of neon heels or a oversize clutch in my case i chose a neon necklace to brighten up my look.
